We are a regional alliance of organizers, community leaders, and everyday neighbors working together to transform North Texas through bold, people-centered change. From Dallas to Denton, Tarrant to Collin County, we're building the progressive infrastructure our communities deserve.
Our Mission
Grassroots Power for Progressive Change
We unite North Texas progressives across counties, cultures, and communities to amplify local voices and win policies rooted in justice, equity, and democracy. Our work spans from neighborhood organizing to statewide coalition-building, creating lasting change that reflects the values of working families.
Inspired by Texas's long tradition of grassroots resistance and community organizing, we understand that real power comes from the ground up. We focus on building durable infrastructure in city halls, school boards, county commissions, and the statehouse—not just during election season, but year-round, every year.

Who We Are: A Regional Progressive Alliance
Founded by diverse organizers and community advocates from Dallas County, Tarrant County, Denton County, and Collin County, we are a coalition of local leaders, issue-based groups, and grassroots volunteers united by shared values and a commitment to transformative change across North Texas.
Diverse Leadership
Our leadership team brings experience in electoral organizing, policy advocacy, mutual aid, and labor organizing, representing AANHPI, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and working-class communities.
Coalition Building
We work alongside local leaders, faith communities, youth organizers, neighborhood associations, and issue-based groups to create a unified progressive voice across the region.
Next Generation
We prioritize community and leadership development, ensuring that organizers and emerging leaders have the skills, support, and platform to lead campaigns and shape our collective future.
What We Do
Our Work: Building Strong Communities & People Power
Real change happens when communities organize for power—not just at the ballot box, but in sustained campaigns for justice, equality, and equity. Our work encompasses multiple strategies to build progressive power across North Texas.
Electoral Organizing
We recruit, train, and support progressive candidates up and down the ballot, with special focus on local races where a small number of votes can transform policy. From school board to city council, we help everyday people run winning campaigns.
Voter Engagement
We organize voter registration, education, and turnout efforts that reach underrepresented communities, including renters, students, immigrants, and working families. Our field teams go where traditional campaigns don't.
Issue Campaigns
We build powerful campaigns on immigrant justice, environmental and climate justice, reproductive freedom, public education, affordable housing, and fair economic policies—creating pressure and winning concrete changes.
Accountability Work
Elections are just the beginning. We hold officials accountable between elections through town halls, public testimony, direct action, and sustained organizing that keeps elected leaders connected to community needs.

Regional Gatherings
Annual regional gatherings such as the North Texas Progressives Alliance Summit bring together organizers from across the state for intensive training, strategic planning, and relationship-building that strengthens our collective power.

Throughout the year, we host and co-sponsor local rallies, teach-ins, canvasses, voter registration drives, and skills trainings across Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, and Collin counties—building momentum and community connections.
